Apple find friends notify me
Apple designed Find My Friends in as a means for better-connecting with friends and family. It's pretty useful for scenarios when you need to keep tabs at an amusement park or to get a live ETA when your buddy is coming to pick you up from the airport. You can even share your location with others so they can track your whereabouts as you go about your day. Sure, you need consent from both parties before sharing a location, but what if I were to enable Find My Friends on someone else's iPhone, then share their location to my iPhone without them knowing? I decided to try it out, and not only was it incredibly easy, it was also fairly incognito—once turned on, the person you're tracking never receives a notification or alert of any kind. Even if the other person decides to open Find My Friends—which most people bury in a folder anyways—it's not very apparent that they're being tracked.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: iOS 13's New "Find My" App: Everything You Need to Know!

Find My Friends
The Find My iPhone app lets you track the last known location of your phone, iPad, and laptop, while Find My Friends allows you to share your location with other people and see where they are if they choose to share with you. In previous iOS releases, the features were located in two separate apps, so iOS 13 does make it more convenient to switch between the two. Here's what you need to do. If you can't find it, open search and type in "Find My. When you open the app, you'll see a toolbar at the bottom with three icons labeled People, Devices, and Me. Once you tap the Me icon, you'll see a "Share My Location" option. If you toggle it off, your current location won't be visible to the people you were sharing it with previously. They'll see a "location unavailable" message when they attempt to pull up your location, which is the same message the app shows if your phone is turned off.
After you turn off location sharing, your iPhone registers the change in Settings. To make sure that Find My Friends is no longer enabled, open Settings and tap your name and picture at the very top of the screen. Then, look for the Find My option. If you want to stop sharing your location with a specific person , you can also make this change in the new Find My app. Tap the People icon at the bottom of the screen in the app, then select the person from the list.
You can also choose to turn off individual device tracking in the app if you aren't interested in using Find My iPhone. But if you want a way to track down your misplaced phone while still keeping your location private from the people on your contact list, turning off location sharing is your best bet. When iOS 13 comes out — possibly as soon as this coming week — you might notice a couple of blank spaces on your iPhone or iPad's home screen. That's because Apple has taken two of its apps, Find My iPhone and Find My Friends, and collapsed them into a single app, with the somewhat sensible but also slightly unwieldy name Find My. Fear not, though: pretty much all of the functionality from those apps has made it into their replacement.
