The conversation between Cory and Minkus leads to a chain of events and a bad situation that becomes worse. It continues as a midquel referring to events in the previous fic, and the final chapters follow the events in UIOW. But through the darkness, there is a Happy Ending in which the characters particularly Minkus and Farkle emerge through better stronger people with a deep sense of love and respect for each other, their friends, and their romances. Rain was pouring down on the streets of New York City. It was quite fitting for the mood Maya Hart was in. Here she stood, soaking wet, in front of his dorm room. She had been standing here for a good ten minutes undecided if she was worth being woken up for at two o'clock in the morning. She sighed to herself. It was the whole reason she was even standing here in the middle of the night in the first place. When she was in need the first person she always wanted to speak to was Riley.

She wished Riley could be here for her now, like she always was. Riley was Riley, and no one could ever replace her. But Maya knew that she needed to speak to someone sooner rather than later, before she convinced herself to bottle up her own feelings and toss them into the wind. Talking and conversation were always a big deal for Maya. However, who she chose to speak with was an even bigger deal.

And yet here she was, crying silently to herself in the dimly lit hallway. Everything had been going great for Maya. She had realized her true feelings for Lucas, nearly avoiding a devastating end to her friendship with Riley, and her mother had married Shawn, a man she had welcomed in her life as a father figure with open arms.

Her mother always taught her to be strong, to accept the cards the universe has dealt you. At best. Maya sighed once again shaking her head. It had now been fifteen minutes, and she needed to make a decision quickly before her mother and Shawn noticed her absence, or worse, someone spotted her in this dormitory before she wanted to be seen.

Suddenly the door in front of her opened, revealing a boy who looked to be in his early twenties. She could only imagine what the boy in front of her was thinking. Why the hell is there a girl who looks to be in high school, soaking wet, standing in front of my dorm room with tears running down her cheeks?

She could only begin to imagine the state she was in. It instantly calmed her down, but her mind was still racing. Josh wrapped his arms around Maya, not questioning her just yet. It sounded so cracked, so fragile, so broken. Nothing like the Maya Hart she knew. Maya sighed once again.

She had a great life, great friends, and a family that felt complete. But here she stood, completely broken. She was getting pretty frustrated with herself at this point. Josh opened the door to his room for her and she entered quickly changing and taking a second to look around. There was one photo lying upside down on the surface of the table. Before she could talk herself out of it, she reached for the picture and took a curious look.

The picture was one that Riley had taken during Thanksgiving of last year. They had been holding hands, and her blonde hair was cascading down his torso. She smiled to herself, realizing how sweet it was that Josh had a picture of her in his room. She silently set the photo back down in its previous location and the smile she was wearing widened. Not only did he have a picture of her, but he had asked Riley to give it to him. Maya suddenly felt warm and cozy.

She felt safe to be here, in the place of someone who thought she mattered. Of course, she felt like her home was safe too; her mother and Shawn were nothing but the most supportive people. Maya walked out of the bedroom and found Josh sitting down on the couch with a worried expression on his face.

Maya looked down at the clothes she was wearing, they were slightly baggy on her but not by much. The length was the real problem. She smiled before walking over and joining Josh on the couch. Maya felt her heart pounding at his words. She knew that someday was going to be a thought in the back of her mind forever, but she always felt light and airy when she heard Josh speak to her with such loving words.

It validated that their promise to each other was still there. But the flash of a small smile was not missed by Maya as his face went solemn again. She suddenly felt extremely vulnerable in this moment. Somewhere in the back of her mind was telling her she needed to escape the situation, to just run back and fall asleep and forget this night even existed.

But another part of her was telling her to stay, to try and talk about her feelings, to stay with Josh. She knew she was being frustrating. But she tried anyway. Like no matter how many good things the world has in store for me, I can never truly let go and enjoy them. I feel.. I feel broken. The entire time never taking her eyes off the brunet boy beside her.

But, Maya, not all good things come to an end, okay? Those friends and family you have? They love you, without a shadow of a doubt. And you always have me, okay? Maya felt tears forming in her eyes once again.

And she meant it. Josh always said the things she needed to hear. Maybe there was some truth to his words. Maybe the Maya Hart she knew was always accepting the bad and never welcoming the good. She swore in that moment to herself, that she would change. This new Maya Hart would still trek on through the unfortunate events, as any Hart would, but she now had a new motto. When good things came her way, she would cherish them. That was it. It was a simple premise that held so much promise.

Josh nodded at her words before slowly pulling her against his side. Maya relaxed against him closing her eyes. Maya smiled to herself, cherishing this moment of something good happening to her. But at the same time, Maya wanted to be able to hold on to a moment that was entirely hers.

A moment cherished between her and Josh. Something they could talk about and remember someday. She hated feeling like this; so helpless and hopeless. So why did she feel so isolated from the world? She looked up into his bright blue eyes, not knowing where to carry the conversation next.

Drinking Too Much

I won't cry. She kept saying to herself and she didn't. She held all her emotions together for her best friends sake. She knew that if she acted on her own feelings she would ultimately break her best friend and she cannot fathom ever hurting Riley. Riley was pure.

For as long as Maya Hart could remember she had the ability to communicate whatever she was feeling through her art. Her mother has told her over and over again that she had received her gift from her father, who left them to follow his dream of being an artist.

I honestly believed that Maya would stay true to her words. Maya had a lot of problems, but she wasn't a liar. Every day after school she either went home with Riley, came to Topanga's with me to study, or walked home with Farkle. I wasn't catching her behind the school and I saw her trying hard to stay up with her homework. But even strong people like Maya Hart can be attacked by high school.

your mess is mine (joshaya one shot)

Lucas sat on her fire escape, his phone in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other. He was never one to drink, but sometimes it helps him to forget her even though he said he never would; Tonight was different somehow. Something about the bitter taste of whiskey only made him think of her more. His drunken haze brought him thoughts of Riley Matthews and how far away London is. Riley would be at school with her new friends and her new boyfriend. That prick. So, when he heard from Maya that Riley was dating someone she met in her English class he had never felt so broken and confused in his life. How was it just so easy for her to move on? After downing the last drop of whiskey, only wincing slightly this time, Lucas directs his attention to his phone. Her smiling face stares back at him from the background of his phone.

An unnecessarily overly-serious pseudo pretentious fic about a children's TV program featuring excessive use of metaphor. The title comes from a quote Riley says in "Girl Meets ", but in my drafts this was titled Lucaya that should have been. Interpret that however you want. Sorry if this sucks, or seems too serious. Maya is an artist for a number of reasons.

She runs into him by accident. It was around two in the morning, and the stars dotted the black canvas in the sky like sprinkles of golden fairy dust.

Rain was pouring down on the streets of New York City. It was quite fitting for the mood Maya Hart was in. Here she stood, soaking wet, in front of his dorm room.

I am a little rusty on FF, I haven't written any for years, so sorry if it's not that great! I have come to love the idea of Josh and Maya and I wanted to write my own take on it. Here we go. I was overjoyed when Shawn proposed to my mother.

The episode Girl Meets Forgiveness never happened in this fanfic. Saving that one for later. Maya looked at the painting in front of her. It was just a canvas covered with black paint from corner to corner. It had been six months since she had transferred to her new High School.

It was the end of riley and Mayas first day of ninth grade. Riley really like being all grown up in high school but imagined people to like her more. She still liked it but she felt weird seeing different people every class, and thankfully her freinds and her had the same lunch. But footsteps came from the same and they heard some one say "well if it isn't two cute freshman girls? They started pushing them back and touching them in a flirty manner not sexual. Riley got a look at this guy leaning up against a pillar. Maya and Riley both got a look at his face now.

Aug 7, - Girl Meets Journey Of Love Maya stepped back once again only this time Lucas does something about it. Its not easy for her to be alone. She faces the world outside and sobs till she cannot fathom her own name.

Known for its incomprehensible narrative and constant digressions, the story centers on a non-canonical female vampire character named "Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way" and her relationships with the characters of the Harry Potter series, particularly her romantic relationship with Draco Malfoy. Ultimately, she is prompted by visions to travel back in time to try to defeat the main antagonist of the series, Lord Voldemort. Since the beginning of the work's publication, it has gained infamy for its awful writing, plot inconsistency and complete disregard for the original Harry Potter source material. Often regarded as among the worst fan fiction ever written, My Immortal is felt to be a detriment to those attempting to bring legitimacy to fan fiction. Despite this, the series has also inspired multiple derivative works, including a YouTube web series, and is viewed with nostalgia for adolescent fan life.

I thought Maya's character and backround was interesting and realistic of all of them, I wanted to write a story more into her life in her Point Of View. This story is rated T for language. Please Read and Review! It was early in the morning and Maya sits at her window, gazing as she waits for the sunrise soon to come.
